MenuTrinfo’s “Certified Free From” program has been recognized by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) National Accreditation Board (ANAB) as meeting the rigorous International Standards Organization (ISO) 17065 standards for certifying bodies. They are the first certification of their kind to reach this level of accreditation.
Certified Free From™ was originally started to provide third-party oversight to dining areas and food producers to demonstrate that they qualify for the certification. It strengthens any soft claims a kitchen or manufacturer might make, and lets consumers know all allergen-free claims live up to a set of rigorous standards that include regular testing, annual audits, and ongoing ingredient reviews. Prior to the CFF certification, people with food allergies had no way to ensure that food was safe for them to eat. With Certified Free From™, they can dine in ease. The food-allergic population now knows that someone has their back.
The ISO 17065 accreditation is ANAB stating that they trust and back our processes, our audits, our procedures and our seal. It was our way of securing our own third-party certification for ourselves, backed by the largest accreditation organization in the country.

All areas of production are audited to ensure protocols are in place to prevent cross-contact. Raw ingredients and finished products are regularly tested to established acceptable thresholds.
Our auditing process will ensure your facility can be Certified Free From (CFF) the top 8 allergens: soy, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, eggs, fish, shellfish, and milk. Sesame is soon to be added as the 9th most common allergen (as of 1/1/23), and we will certify for it as well. All certifications are created using established parameters under standard allergy testing guidelines. With the Certified Free From Seal, you signal to your customers that you take food allergies seriously, and that you understand the importance of providing menu items that can be safely consumed by people with food allergies, intolerances, or sensitivities.
All areas of production are audited to ensure protocols are in place to prevent cross-contact. Raw ingredients and finished products are regularly tested to a threshold of 5ppm or less gluten.
Once a product or facility has been approved that CPG (consumer packaged good) or facility, dining area, restaurant or bakery can proudly share, wear or advertise that they are Certified Gluten Free and use the seal shown here in our branded Teal or a solid Black color.

Vegan certification is determined by the restriction of animal products of any kind in the product itself or its making. Any kind of unprocessed plant food is vegan, this includes fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, beans, and legumes. Vegan products cannot contain any animal by-products or be tested on animals in any way.
